Nobody is born with trust. You have to earn it by aligning your words with your actions and adding value to people. It’s not something just given away for free and you need to work to acquire it.
Trust is the foundation of all good relationships. We’re either depositing into our trustworthy account or withdrawing from it. If you want to be trusted, your words and actions have to be aligned. If you say one thing but do another, how do you expect people to be able to trust you? The longer you know certain people, what you do holds more weight than what you say. Trust is built when you continuously mean the best and do the best for others. If you value someone, you’d do anything to add value to them.
In conclusion, if you want to be trusted, you’ll need to align your words to your actions and add value to others.
